Part–A: Permanent / Life Membership

Eligibility for Permanent Membership

  • 1.Any person who is a permanent resident of the Abhaykhand area and is the legal owner of a residential flat/house (Flat Owner).
  • 2.The spouse (husband/wife) of a flat owner, provided the spouse resides in the same flat and submits valid identity and residence proof.
  • 3.The applicant must have completed a minimum age of 25 years.
  • 4.The applicant must not be involved in any criminal case and must be mentally sound.
  • 5.The applicant must agree to abide by the Constitution, Rules, Objectives, and lawful decisions of the Federation.
  • 6.A one-time, non-refundable Life Membership Fee of ₹1000/- shall be payable at the time of enrollment.

Important Rules

  • 1.Only one individual per flat/house shall be granted Permanent Membership to ensure fair and balanced representation.
  • 2.Permanent Membership shall be personal and non-transferable.
  • 3.If a Permanent Member ceases to be a resident of the Abhaykhand area, the Executive Committee may terminate the membership at its discretion.
  • 4.In case a member is found involved in any anti-Federation, illegal, immoral, or indisciplined activity, the Executive Committee shall have full authority to cancel the membership.

Permanent / Life Member

  • 1.A Permanent Member shall be one who fulfills all eligibility conditions mentioned in Part–A.
  • 2.A Permanent Member shall have the right to vote and to contest elections of the Federation.
  • 3.The Executive Committee shall be elected every three (3) years in accordance with the Constitution of the Federation.
  • 4.A minimum membership period of two (2) years may be prescribed to contest elections, to ensure experience and continuity in governance.

Executive Committee

  • 1.The tenure of the Executive Committee shall be 3 years.
  • 2.Elections will be held every 3 years through secret ballot as per the constitution.
  • 3.A member can seek re-election for Executive Committee positions.

Part–B: General Member

For Residential Societies

All registered or unregistered Residential Welfare Associations / Housing Societies located in the Abhaykhand area shall be General Members of the Federation. General Membership shall be through the respective society, and not in an individual capacity.

Societies having 25 or fewer flats/houses shall pay a minimum annual membership fee

₹500/year

Societies having more than 25 flats/houses shall pay an annual fee per flat/house

₹20 per flat/year

Example: A society with 48 flats → 48 × ₹20 = ₹960/- per year

Payment: The membership fee shall be deposited by the Society's Executive Committee into the authorized bank account of the Federation.

Note: Annual renewal of General Membership is mandatory.

Part–C: Validity of Membership

  • 1Membership shall remain valid as long as the concerned member or society remains associated with the Abhaykhand area.
  • 2If, after granting membership, any member or society is found involved in illegal, immoral, or anti-Federation activities, the Executive Committee shall have the right to cancel the membership.
  • 3Any complaint, information, or allegation shall be subject to fair inquiry and decision by the Executive Committee in accordance with the Rules.
  • 4The member/society shall be given an opportunity to present their case (Show Cause / Hearing) before any adverse decision is taken.

Part–D: Permanent Membership Identity Card (Federation Permanent ID)

Every Permanent/Life Member shall be issued a unique Permanent Membership Identity Card (Federation Permanent ID) by the Federation.

1The Identity Card shall be valid only for the member in whose name it is issued and shall be non-transferable.
2The Identity Card shall be treated as official proof of Federation membership.
3The Identity Card may be used for meetings, elections, voting, and other official activities of the Federation.
4Any misuse, forgery, or unauthorized use of the Identity Card shall be treated as a serious disciplinary offence.
5In case the Identity Card is lost or damaged, a duplicate card may be issued on written request, subject to approval of the Executive Committee and payment of the prescribed fee.
6The Identity Card shall display the membership number, photograph, and validity status to ensure transparency.
